The Challenge

The tournament required real-time match tracking across multiple venues. Previously, results relied on spreadsheets and messaging groups, creating delays and information gaps. The solution needed to function reliably on mobile devices in environments with poor Wi-Fi connectivity, support live scoring from venue workstations, and accommodate 63 teams from five nations (Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Spain, Bosnia & Herzegovina).

The Solution

A mobile-first progressive web application with real-time synchronization capabilities. Venue scorers entered data from dedicated laptops, with instant updates propagating to all connected devices without manual refresh.
